Gordana Sarić is a world-renowned poet of love and peace from Montenegro, a professor of French and Latin, a humanist, translator, journalist, and a tireless cultural worker whose creative and ethical engagement transcends borders, languages, and traditions. She is the author of twenty five books, and thirty of her poems dedicated to letters are included in the curriculum for second grade elementary school education, affirming her lasting contribution to both literature and pedagogy. Through her writing, public work, and cultural leadership, she has become a distinctive voice of unity, compassion, and spiritual awareness in contemporary world literature.
She is a member of the Society of Writers of Montenegro, the Association of Writers of Serbia, and the Association of Children’s Writers of Montenegro. Gordana Sarić serves as an ambassador of culture and goodwill of the World Literature Society of India, which gathers more than twenty five thousand members worldwide. She is also a cultural ambassador of the Chinmaya Dash Foundation of India, a peace ambassador of Prince Ahmad Samad of Lebanon, Princess of Peace in Belgium, and Ambassador of Peace in Italy, Morocco, Greece, and several other countries. Her humanitarian mission and poetic advocacy for peace earned her the Diamond Torch award in Venezuela for outstanding contribution to world peace.
Among her most distinguished recognitions are the prestigious Oscar of Popularity awarded in Vienna in 2025 and the title Personality of the Year in Serbia in 2026. She received the second prize for Traditional Queen of World Beauty from the Chinmaya Dash Foundation in India, the Elegance of Poetry award presented by Loyda Magaña of Mexico, and the Honorary Naji Naaman Award for 2025 in Lebanon for her overall creativity, selected among four thousand three hundred seventy one poets from ninety two countries writing in forty one languages. She is also a recipient of the Diamond Torch from Venezuela, reaffirming her role as a global voice for peace.
At the Pontifical University Antonianum in Rome, the Academy of Leadership and High Intelligence of Mexico, for which Gordana Sarić serves as president for Montenegro, proclaimed her Diva of World Culture 2024, included her among the Five Unforgettable Women of the World, awarded her the Doctor Honoris Causa for culture, and declared her the Leader of Humanity. In the Senate of Rome, she received the DivinaMente Donna Divine Woman award for excellence in culture and writing from the Verbumlandi Art Society, and in Modena she was honoured with the Award for Excellence in Writing, further affirming her international literary stature.

THE DESIRE FOR LOVE REMAINS
Everything passes like flowing water,
everything passes and nothing lasts forever,
our only life goes to non return
only the desire for love remains forever.
The longing remains for someone to love us,
words: I can’t live without you,
there remains waiting and unextinguished hope
that someone’s heart will only beat for us.
We want a hug when love smells in the pearly night,
when stars burn instead of candles,
we want: I love you, with the moonlight song
while the craving grows bigger and bigger.
We dream of warm, trembling tenderness
fiery hands to warm us with passion
to forget everything around us
and get lost in some magical eyes.
The desire for love never ends
lives in the soul of every moment,
with spring in us forever remains
and in the embrace of the year lasts timelessly.

WITH NOBLE WORDS I FIGHT FOR PEACE
From the Planet of Light i came to the world full of unrest
to illuminate souls without Sun’s light,
to embrace them with the radient rays of the Space
and inhale love until my last breath.
I can’t understand what’s going on here,
senseless quarrels and divisions among people,
wasting of time on trivial things
and only one short life we have.
With noble words and a smile I fight for peace,
for reason and harmony that everyone needs,
I want to change the world with kindness,
so that unity is among all peoples.
I carry the song of peace like a prayer across the planet,
I look for soul mates to share love,
because so, together, we are stronger
and can melt the ice in frozen hearts.
We should teach them that we are only the shadow of transience,
to live in harmony under the same sky,enjoy the beauty of friendship
and the eternity of a moment,because tomorrow is too late,
we need peace and love today.
I want to leave a trace behind me,
defeat the evil that rules the Earth with love,
eradicate hatred with noble deeds
and proudly return to my Planet of Light.

PRAYER TO GOD
Dear God, prayer and hope
Thank you for giving love to my soul
So I know how to love both, a grass and a flower
And all the people on this planet.
Thank you for guiding me along the paths of beauty
That you give me strength to fly with birds
You are in my heart with the angel of goodness
As a blessing and as light itself.
God, that I praise you with a poem
My whole being breathes with you
Hear the prayers that the heart does not bleed
Give peace that is no more.
Do not allow departures from home
Let the chaos, bombs and rockets stop
Refugees, uncertainty without an aim and hope
And the pathlessness of this suffering planet.
Enlighten the reason of this madness
Cease the wars and conflicts
Unite the hearts that do not know love
May everyone find peace and freedom.

Gordana Sarić est une poétesse de l’amour et de la paix reconnue dans le monde entier, originaire du Monténégro. Elle est professeure de français et de latin, humaniste, traductrice, journaliste et travailleuse culturelle infatigable. Son engagement créatif et éthique dépasse les frontières, les langues et les traditions. Elle est l’auteure de vingt cinq livres, et trente de ses poèmes consacrés aux lettres font partie du programme scolaire de la deuxième année de l’école primaire, ce qui confirme sa contribution durable à la littérature et à l’éducation. Par son écriture, son action publique et son rôle culturel, elle est devenue une voix forte de l’unité, de la compassion et de la conscience spirituelle dans la littérature mondiale contemporaine.
Elle est membre de la Société des écrivains du Monténégro, de l’Association des écrivains de Serbie et de l’Association des écrivains pour enfants du Monténégro. Gordana Sarić est ambassadrice de la culture et de la bonne volonté de la Société de littérature mondiale de l’Inde, qui réunit plus de vingt cinq mille membres dans le monde. Elle est également ambassadrice culturelle de la Fondation Chinmaya Dash en Inde, ambassadrice de la paix du prince Ahmad Samad du Liban, Princesse de la paix en Belgique, et ambassadrice de la paix en Italie, au Maroc, en Grèce et dans plusieurs autres pays. Elle est également lauréate de la Torche de Diamant du Venezuela, confirmant son rôle de voix mondiale pour la paix.
